Look I know Itachi is under a genjustu but what is kabuto thinking???He brought Itachi with Edo tensei if he realses the justu Itachis flesh will begone and he will be saved from Itaich what are your thoughts?? if you some how give me a senseble theroy than I will +rep you

Itachi is under "Protect Konoha" He is still edo but hes control of his own body. Now with that said Since he is still edo if he released edo then ALL of edo will be released and the war will pretty much be lost for him and tobi. Plus it takes human sacrifices and alot of time to activate.

Im still not fully convinced on the "under the genjutsu" theory still to much to be known

i agree with Kwalker394, if Kabuto releases the jutsu, then everybody he has summoned will be released as well. He would then have to gather enough dead bodies to summon them again, as well as adding their DNA for each summon. Basically him and Tobi would be screwed

well he could just undo the jutsu an git rid of iachi an madara then just bring back madara....that sounds eazy but if he did that then madara will have to run bac to the kages an fight them....but thats not a bad thing to do if u ask me.

He could do that but it would be pointless sense if he did then about 70% of tobi's army would be defeated in an instant. plus he has to have time, DNA, and alive people to re do the edo.
He before the war he summond them he didnt use edo then until after/durring the war. It says that you need a body and DNA when Kabuto showed Tobi how to use the jutsu.

yea u need dna to make them...show me where does it say after u undo them u need more dna to bring them bac once again.........................i meant undo it once madara was brought to the war not when everybody else was out

cuz he would hav released itachi as soon as he broke free thats y we say if he says release he will release all of them makes sence if u ask me...he would released itachi this very moment if he could do 1 at a time no need to fight him if u could just get rid of him.
