Itachi doesn't have a counter.

Tsukiyomi would not affect Obito. Amaterasu would not affect Obito. And Susano'o would not affect Obito.

Obito on the other hand, can attack seemingly out of nowhere, leaving Itachi guessing where he could show up next. Also, if need be, Obito could just use Izanagi whereas Izanami wouldn't work on Obito U_U

Tsukuyomi would effect him this was stated in Road to ninja
Amaterasu did have effect it might not kill him but it did deal damage ( the hard part is landing the attack )
His Susano'o has a spirit weapon with no physical form which means it would have effect.

I have the feelings that the obito that fought minato would stomp itachi

from what we know of their genjutsu feats, Obito>Itachi, since obito placed and controlled a perfect jin under his genjutsu for many years.
Amaterasu would not work
totsuka can't seal when it can't touch.

Why won't izanami work if narutos tnj did?

Road to Ninja was not canon :|
Amaterasu would not work because of intangibility. Obito would be able to see when it is about to be used as well.
Susano'o would have to land the attack with Totsuka which means = never in a million years.
Obito could warp inside Susano'o and kill Itachi like that.

You misunderstand, his totsuka blade when obito is using his kamui will have no effect, it has no physical form yes.. How will that connect with obito when his body is located in a different dimension. ?

The Totsuka takes quite some area. So unless Obito manages to go completely intangible in time he will get hit
And even if Obito goes into his susano that doesn't necessarily mean he can beat him head on.

:| You used something said in a Naruto movie as evidence.

It's not really evidence. But more logically i guess...
Since it hits you mentally not physically

These are the reasons why Obito stomps.... and I am by no means an Obito fan

  • Obito's genjutsu which soloed Mizugakure (and you can arguably call this his Tsukiyomi), is far more impressive than Itachi's Tsukiyomi which would not affect him.
  • Intangibility ensures that Amaterasu would not land and with the Sharingan, Obito can see build up of chakra in Itachi's eyes for heads up.
  • Warping can give Obito a stealth advantage and he could instantly teleport into Itachi's Susano'o and end him like that.
  • Izanami :|
  • Totsuka blitz is one of the most retard excuses I've heard when I debate with Itachi fans. He would have to land the attack and Obito's flight (at least I think he can... Konan fight?) posses an even greater challenge since their is an absolute length.
