I was going to say this. Itachi is known for having people under genjutsu without the enemy noticing. I think Kabuto is already under Tsukuyomi.

Itachi promised Sasuke that he would talk AFTER they defeat Kabuto (and the Edo Tensei ends)... how does he intend to do that???
And yeah, Suigetsu has not delivered the scroll yet, so I don't think Itachi is going to do much till then...

look whatever happens if kabuto falls for a genjutsu (and of course he will as it is the only way to stop the edo and 4 sharingans are glaring at him too) then it would be sasuke's genjutsu not itachi's. reasons:
1.oro knew itachi so same goes for kabuto maybe
2.we have seen itachi's jutsu too many times to acknowledge it
3.sasuke got upgrades (ems even itachi doesnot has it) worth using in the final strike
*oro and kabuto knew sasuke but not his ems abilities(ms abilities could be known through tobi guy or zetsu)

I think Kabuto is still not under genjutsu because on the last page of chap 578, Kabuto said something like two brothers left alone by their freinds against me that is interesting.
Also if he is caught under genjutsu so early then it won't be any good fight between them.
Definitely Kabuto has some plan in his mind as this fight is one of the 3 most important fights which will save the whole world from destruction..
