What is going to happen to Obito now?

What is his new and only path they talked about..? Will he die like a trash? I feel pretty much sorry for Obito,I dont want him to die this way...like a fodder. I know that he killed Narutos parents,he killed Uchihas,he declared 4th great ninja war,killed Neji and a lot of fodders,but look at him now. He is nothing,he has nothing,his dream is broken,he is exposed to reality that he is trash. He never knew his parents,everyone hated him,only Rin liked him....This guy had nothing from the start and you guys call Obito a shit character..you know nothing about shit characters

Well Tsunade is still in the battlefield Karin also... This two chicks are the best way for Obito to comeback on the field, His the only one who can find a weakness to Madara since theyre like big bro's before... I feel like Kishi still needs him..

The only reason kishi could have for letting him live after extracting the tailed beasts is because of the zetsu that's possibly keeping him alive. Hell, if you remember the dude had no heart when Kakashi shanked him!

However if he does die he better give Kakashi his other sharingan

He is one of the strongest characters in the NV, has Senju DNA and the 1-7 tails are rather weak.

In the Obito/Edo Jinchuriki vs Naruto and Bee fight Kyuubi was able to overpower the combined TBB of the other 7 Bijuu's, so pretty much Kyuubi = 1-7 Tails power wise. And Kushina survived the Kyuubi extraction after giving birth.

Obito getting the 1-7 Tails extracted equals Kushina having the Kyuubi extracted, I don't see him dying from that.

That's a good theory, I can sorta see Madara doing something crazy and getting super op'd and Obito being the one that sacrifices himself to end Madara

That my friend is called ultimate defeat. When the hero tells his enemy that he will be defeated, his defeat must not be only in terms of body, but in mind as well. That's the difference between Naruto and DBZ.

I don't think he is a bad character, in fact, he is one of the most well written characters over the entire series. We could see his former self, his evolution and his will, we saw him in despair, we saw him surrender onto the darkness, we saw his persona "Tobi" (the one who started to move the tides), we saw his second persona "The Unnamed" (the one who moved the shinobi world towards the war), we saw his third persona "Obito" (the one who clearified the intentions behind the mask), and in the end we are seeing the grasps of what he was in the past, the one who returned after all his personas were defeated... the former self, Obito Uchiha.

That's evolution man. He was defeated, and its defeat was one of the most meaningful over the series... his entire life was revealed, just like Naruto's past was revealed to the shinobi alliance some chapters ago. Protagonist and Antagonist, the opposite sides of the coin, a common objective, opposite means to reach it.

Furthermore, I bet Obito has a total of Six personas and I didn't realize it. He had to walk six paths in order to find an answer to inner peace... I must read this arc again.

i loved this chapter, as for the last several chapters. Since the war got really good and going, there hasnt been a moment i didnt enjoy. All the characters have shown exponential growth, especially the k11! Obito and Madara are both excellent and well written villians..and i have enjoyed seeing Obito's "selves" progress thru the series and come back to himself. I gotta feeling this moon eye stuff just activated though, which is going to be badass to see what Kishi does with the story...i am very very very interested to see this alternate reality. The last page gives us clues to i think as to how or what team 7 or Naruto will do to fix this situation!!
