What is exactly S-rank?

S-Rank Shinobi are either, very experienced Jonin, or Kage level missing Nin.

Also the shinobi has to have a very unique and dangerous ability to be considered a S-Rank Missing Nin instead of just a Missing Nin.

The entire Akatsuki organization are S-Rank Missing Nin, because the all have some type of rare or unique KG or ability.

Zabuza is what's considered just a Missing Nin.

They are elusive, cunning, and shadows. They can control and manipulate the battles they are in without being controlled or manipulated to some extent. They have defensive tech's/ evasive techniques which makes it hard to hurt them. They aren't well known, and some think they are folklore or legend.

That is S rank.
