Sasuke is "Cool" because it gives all the pathetic emo wannabe middle class tweens someone to "relate" to being their Parents don't "Understand them". When you look at it being an Emo is the only time in a tween tards life they can be "Emotional" before the except the fact no1 cares about them and they grow up or kill themselves.

attack ( from the first movie ). Everything else are just random power ups that require him to just stand around and
spam Sasunoo because he now has an Infinite chakra reserve out of the blue.

I like that he's more business then other characters. Doesn't do any of that TnJ bs.

For example, recently when Naruto was going all naive TnJ on a world-wide serious threat, Sasuke just charges in to take advantage of the situation thus attempting to put down Obito. Would of it been cold? Yes, but cold isn't always wrong. Kakashi interfered and he had the right idea too until Naruto's Father butted in. Both those yellow haired dudes are delusional. Obito should of been killed, right then and there. Sasuke's crimes simply do not compare to Obitos - he can't come back.

We wouldn't have this Rinnegan eyes problem now if Obito had been killed and the eyes destroyed. Sasuke had the right idea. He tends to have the right idea and then it's thrown to the side because people are so naive and think "peace" and "talking" is ultimate. No. Peace is not greater then hatred, they're equal. Sometimes you need to do more then talk.

I also liked that he charged Madara when everyone else was doing jackshit. Was it reckless? Sure, but at least he's trying to do something.

I'd be angry too if I walked in on my dead clan including my parents dead on the ground and finding out my brother was responsible, leading a life of revenge against the brother I love for slaughtering my clan, then when I finally kill him, a masked man who tied me up tells me that he loved me and saved the whole village. Then I stop at nothing to kill the sixth hokage because I remember all the memories I had of my beloved brother, but only to be confused after that by seeing his dead body running through the woods next to me. But to answer your original post about why he's so cool is because he copy's Lee's moves after seeing it once, mastered the lightning blade so young without any extra chakra like Naruto had when he mastered rasengan, he has a sexy voice, he looks awesome when he utilizes kenjutsu, besides Pain he's the only one with 2 summons, and he's just plain sexy, although some people think he's cool because they suffer from the "bad boy" complex. Did I mention he's hot

First off let me introduce myself- I am Wildtangent I joined years ago and don't sign on too often unless I'm bored and feel like rocking the boat. So lets see if I still got it!

While everyone is entitled to their opinion I wish we all would take greater care in our word choice when voicing it. I have taken classes (collegiate level) on Japanese history, culture, and theory. While I am no expert I do know some of what I am talking about when it comes to the Japanese. This is the first year in over 15 that Japan doesn't have one of the leading suicide deaths. The reason Japan has had this problem (and still does) is because Japanese are typically more depressed than other cultures. This is due to the fact that Japanese pressure themselves more than most other cultures to be successful and accepted by their fellows, not necessarily because they feel their is a lack of "understanding" by there family members (or because they are any more of a cry baby than anyone on this site is). I can go on for forever, but for the sake of not hurting feelings I will stop seeing I feel I have made my point with this part of your post. If not let me know. Also for future reference goggling images and posting them does not make your point more viable. Just like you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet.

Sasuke is definitely a "fangirl" character in the sense that the female population in the story and in real life are more so attracted to him. I feel that younger males are attracted to him because of the "bad boy" persona he gives off which is what most young males want, not necessarily because he (Sasuke) is depressed. I think it is very bold to say that kids would kill themselves if Sasuke were to die or not be as powerful. Children and suicide are not something to be joked about because you are angery or have angst against a made up "pathetic" character.

It does upset me how you nonchalantly use words like "tween tards," make statements about how no one cares about another person so they kill themselves, and about how others need to "grow up." For the record the fact that you use these words and make these statements tells me that you are about the age of what you consider to be a "tween tard." In all honesty, while there probably is a healthy population of young children and teens on this website, you better believe there is also a healthy population of 18 to 35 year old's.

I feel Sasuke seems "cool" to some readers because on some level we can all relate to Sasuke ( and lets be honest we all can relate to most characters in this manga on some level.) I feel females like him because he is attractive and he has that "bad boy" personality most young woman like. I feel males are attracted to him for the same reasons. He has a bad boy personality and life style that young men like. Sasuke also has an all business personality, he isn't a lovey dovey person like Sakura or even Naruto, he does what he has too to accomplish what he thinks is right. Some males may find this as something they want to be (all business, no nonsense). Females may be attracted to this because in a real life scenario most young females feel they can "change" the bad boy to be a "good boy" just for her. I feel that Kishi is aware of these traits in all adolescents (and some adults) which is part of the reason why Sasuke is who he is. After all we all need are favorite character and we all need our least favorite character, that is why Sasuke is the way he is and why every character is the way they are- Kishi wanted everyone to have a fav character and least fav character- to make money and have drama.

Because he is the most beautiful, complex, benevolent character I have ever seen materialized on paper(And in animation). A basic mind will not see this, and will basically hate him; because he is a walking source of despairs and insecurities that sort of personify a persons own insecurities. A "dark" character is easily misconstrued as something low especially when their reasons to be on such a path is more than baffling.
But it really, really Isn't.
As I've said MANY times, you truly have to know where he's coming from on every end in order to truly appreciate him. He is relatable on heights even for me. I'm attracted to the belief that he's been my favorite character since I was 8 years old for the fact that I would later be able to use my carried understandings of him over the years for the very purpose of explaining and interpreting his character from a better side of view.
Of course this will sound pathetic to the audience but Sasuke has saved my life. When I was an idiotic tween, I really would have ended myself had I suddenly not felt such a deep connection with his character, and not felt alone with my turmoils with my family and the personal calamities I was suffering through disorder after disorder. He made me feel human. And safe.
Through much introspection, for some reason evaluating him is very easy. Because I fit in the same context of perception, that he would be most agreeable with.

And it really is such a bitter shame a lot of people look down on such a character as he. I won't get into the "You don't understand him, you would've done MUCH worse had you lived HIS hell", because although it's fabulously true, I can't convince others of this stature otherwise. People will always have a distaste for him, case and point. And as long as they do, I will continue to speak on Sasuke's behalf.
He is divinely written, and I disagree with the purpose of him being a fangirl character. Kishimoto made him to be Naruto's rival, and in the fashion that keenly likable devil. But ultimately, I believe his creation was meant to hold many a perception, from different values of different people. It depends on what it is of him you exactly regard, and in a better case, come to a point of understanding him and not degrading him with petty class-D insults. I can never see reason with anti-Sasuke's for as long as they contradict themselves and use such foul language in attempt to somehow remain coherent, when altruistically they are just biased and predetermined.

I adore Sasuke, and "cool" is an understatement.
