What is Boruto series Lacking?

I'm just waiting for it to get serious.

I haven't seen anyone in danger yet so it feels kinda redundant. We're all waiting for Boruto to do something interesting and start on his own path, yet it feels like its moving at a snails pace to get there.

What worries me (it doesn't really worry, not like something serious) is that the "serious" ends up failing miserably, I will hardly be able to enjoy myself for watching it. The whole thing feels like shippuden filler..

The Manga tone is different but the parallels are there and the lack of originality is starting to be cringeworthy. The pacing is torturous. For me, what really ends up saving it is this whole enigma regarding Boruto seal, its meaning and how it relates to Kara (This might not be enough for some).

They need to plan very carefully for the future because when all of this suspense disappears and answers are given, what will be left for the Manga? Will readers endure this pacing and actually wait for answers, or will they abandon it after two years of wait?

We are reaching a problematic point and the editors must be aware of it.

Notice that this could be an issue for the consistency of the story. It seems that the writers need some time to plan things ahead and make things seem tight. The Manga needs to reach some sort of climax, I just expect it to be sooner than later.

I just don't know, maybe yes, maybe not.. They would split the manga into 20 pages instead of the monthly 40 but then what? Idk man. It looks like they are out of ideas for the future, after the answers regarding Boruto and Kara are given.

I agree. That's what I'm betting on anyway.

I can't really deal with the slow pacing + lack of excitement

Though it has potential, which keeps me going.

It lacks maturity above all. But it's not without hope. Doesn't look anything serious; another flaw. We need more characters like itachi and sasuke and lesser boruto show off style characters; all talk and no walk. If we've to put it in a percentage scenario boruto is the 98.9% reason people can't help but feel the show has zero hope even though it could've. Sarada is handling it all by herself and is one character who is at least a bit cool and attractive. These types of character need to arise for it to have a future.

It lacks correct pacing. It lacks real developments because of this.. I mean really the Ao arc is the biggest thing to happen action wise aside from Momo's attack that happened 2 years ago IMO. Still no seal or Jougan development. Still no hint of Kawaki. Still no real use of Mitsuki's SM. Sarada still has 1T..... Like build the story. Don't allude to it's potential like it hasn't even launched yet. I feel like I'm getting the most drawn out story pitch for a potential manga/anime rather than the actual manga/anime LOL.

All the characters are garbage and mean nothing unlike the way they did in the original. Boruto is boring, sarada is annoying and boring, the only person I like seeing at the moment is mitsuki. The side character's introduced are vomit inducing low budget copy paste, like the new swordsman, and kagura. And to make matters worse, the manga is progressing so slow it has to constantly borrow elements from the anime which is just sad. Hopefully it'll get better but until then it's a far cry from its parent series. Ao gives me hope tho because he's quite the villain.

It feels like were moving in circles.don't forget the rehash of the itachi speech on that save the bridge episode.everyones like oh look another bridge but itachis words to naruto were copy pasted

Why am i still watching it? Cuz i got hooked on the og naruto like 12 years ago maybe longer.naruto has been in my life longer than it hasn't (im 23)
