Seems to me like he is a god. Hamura and Hagoromo were gods like their mother Kaguya. BZ must also be a god.

How has he lived for so long? Hidan, Kakuzu, and Orochimaru's immortality is complete shit compared to his. I wouldn't be surprised if BZ was Jashin. He did shape history itself, maybe Hidans immortality is linked through his somehow god power. Hamura and Hagoromo died from natural causes. Why hasn't BZ died? I think he is the one true immortal being and that itself makes him a god.
