Or something you can use all the time and is very versatile

Itachi's Susano'o wasn't a one use thing. He was able to block Kirin with it and knew it's uses, so he obviously trained with it.

Well, he died 2 minutes after using it against Sasuke....so its not a long term thing

because of his overexertion and illness...not because of the susanoo

Itachi's susanoo wasn't one time use, just like sasuke's it just cost chakra and probably a lot of eye sight. and itachi was sick.

Yes, I prefer a versatile Clone Great Explosion, as compared to a use once and die jutsu like RDS.
