Yes rasengan from naruto can kill sasuke. The same way that sasuke was getting ready to kill naruto with base Chidori before naruto gave him that uppercut.
The techniques clashing in no way means they take the full fore of the attack. Naruto and sasuke used base rasengan against base Chidori many times and up until the final came out relatively unscathed. But the moment they even catch a glancing blow(sasuke vote 1 chidori) the other is left passed out.
