What if Itachu used the crow not on himself but on Nagato, so nagato would be free from Kabutos controll instead of Itachi. Your thoughts?

I know its silly, but I am just kinda bored and thought about this

Not possible,the kotoamatsukami was set to activate on Naruto seeing Itachi's Sharingan.
Anyway,for the sake of it,Edo tensei would not have been broken and everyone might have been in a heck of a lot of trouble.Or Nagato,could have kicked everyone's asses,used chibaku tensei and got rid of all edos.

Nagato can't use Izanami as far as we saw in the manga, yeah he would be pretty OP but useless at the same time .-. , it would take him a while to move from one battlefield to another and that would just cost lives, let's be honest here, a sharingan user was needed.

Meh, kishi didn't want this kind of opness, but still, he was paralysed, and Kabuto has the jutsu to take him down...Whiteshock to stop him from being able to cast chibaku tensei and channel it, and muki tensei to take him down

Kishi couldn't have two OP guys (Madara & Nagato) free from Edo Tensei. Nagato stomps every Edo apart from Madara, who he'd give a good fight and would help the Kages ALOT.

This is the only battle that Itachi can win against Nagato, so Edo Itachi is more useful than Edo Nagato in this war, believe it or not, I'm not a fanboy.

Not really, as I said it would take him a Long time to reach the battle field, and he wouldn't be able to use CT due to so many shinobi on the battlefield, Nagato would be useless since all his attacks are OP and takes multiple enemies at a time, he would endanger the alliance themselves along with the Edo's

And you should know that when nagato uses chibaku tensei, it aaffects who he wants it to affect... thus his paths and him do not get sucked in.....

How can who die? Itachi?, I'm sure minato has other sealing jutsu, but that's just speculation.... he also has gedo mazo, which in turn has the soul stealing dragon jutsu......

Chibaku tensei is something Itachi cannot counter alone.. and he does not have any jutsu on the sheer size and power as a combined tbb+ rasenshruiken.......

his katon/suiton can be countered by preta, amaterasu by deva, Tsukyomi by simply not looking at his eyes.. something i have no doubt nagato would do since he knows all about itachi's jutsu... He is a sensor who can share vision with summonings so non eye contact hinders him in no way...
Lets not forget he can fly
