What if Zetsu is Tsunade/Nawaki's father ( Hashirama's son).

I'm talking about the Black Zetsu. His origins are unknown. My theory is that Hashirama and Mito had a son that was just an average shinobi that the Senju family wasn't proud of. That's why he is never mentioned yet. Than, at a later time during his life, Hashirama's traits started to be a little too much for him. That venus fly trap look is actually a condition he got from Hashi's Mokuton trait. Danzo wasn't able to control Hashi's DNA because he wasn't Senju or Uchiha. Since Zetsu is his son and he possess his wood release, it shouldn't be problem for him. Plus, I could see him being Nawaki's father too. There's some resemblance.

This theory is very weird but I wanted to think outside the box. It's the thought that counts

Actually your theory is possible. My thoughts though is that zetsu is hashirama's power itself. There is so much power that in his death it took another life form. Haha.

Well that's not entirely true. Yamato could use the mokuton abilities without him being a senju or an uchiha. Danzo couldn't control it because it's hard as hell to control it and it consumes A LOT of chakra when using it. This was explained by Madara or Tobi I believe(don't remember exactly who it was).

As for your theory, it is indeed pretty weird and I don't believe that it is very probable. But kishi might suprise us, it wouldn't be his first time
