The men were exposed to sexually explicit erotic stimuli consisting of heterosexual, male homosexual, and lesbian videotapes, and changes in penile circumference were monitored. They also completed an Aggression Questionnaire (A. H. Buss & M. Perry, 1992). Both groups exhibited increases in penile circumference to the heterosexual and female homosexual videos. Only the homophobic men showed an increase in penile erection to male homosexual stimuli. The groups did not differ in aggression. I can't actually read the study. The synopsis doesn't provide enough information. What percent of the "homophobic" men got an erection? what back grounds did they choose these people from? What age group were the people?

As with all studies, this one had several limitations. As the authors pointed out, all participants were college students, so it may be helpful in future research to test these effects in younger adolescents still living at home and in older adults who have had more time to establish lives independent of their parents and to look at attitudes as they change over time. He just copy pasted one segment from an article on psychology today which analyzes the study (2012) lead by Netta Weinstein

But like you say there are other studies that show the same correlation.

Disapprove, sure. Even though I disagree with disapproving of it, there's no stopping that. But when you let it get to the point that you'd treat your child with prejudice because of it, then you've failed as a parent.
