Reference to latest chapter #601. At the last few pages, in Tobi's recollection, we saw a white long haired, old man with the Sharingan, there's no mistake about that.
Now it beg the question, who is that old man?
It cannot be Uchiha Madara because the Edo Tensei Jutsu will summon him back as a old man. My gut is telling me the ultimate mastermind behind the whole Moon Eye Plan / Revival of Uchiha Madara is... Uchiha Izuna.
I will suggest that prior to Izuna giving Madara his Mangekyo Sharingan, Izuna used Izanagi Jutsu to "rebirth" himself. Just after Madara obtained his EMS, Izuna's Izanagi was activated and he has his eyes again.
Izuna will then quietly lived for 80plus years till present time and saved a certain dying Uchiha Obito. Whom i believe has blood ties with one another. (Probably grandfather - grandson relationship)
My guess is as above and why not - there is no concrete proof to say Izuna died (yes we did saw Izuna in a coffin, but that doesnt mean anything as proven by Obito's crushing by the stones, and we thought Obitio died).
Feel free to comment.
I need someone to help me post a pic (if possible) - The part where Madara grab Izuna's eyes before pulling it out.
From that pic, we can see Izuna's eyes was red in color but devoid of any Sharingan tomoa pattern - Could it mean he sacrificed his eyes in order to use the Izanagi?????
