I also think they'll get weaker. Senju's source of power is love, while Uchiha's source is hate. Tsunade for example, she lost her loved ones. What happened to her? She left the village and went gambling, didn't train for years and almost quit the life of a shinobi. This made her rusty and weak. On the other hand, when Sasuke knew about the truth on his brother, he got an upgrade. See the difference. Just an analogy.
