It'd be a pretty big reveal if S06P was resurrected and corrupted by elderly Madara somehow, and that was how Madara planned to return to life. What say you, NBers?

We've seen Madara uses some weird jutsu to influence people, possibly related to the rods he put in Nagato and Obito (though this is only implied so far in the story). What if he used Rinnegan to revive the sage and is influencing him in a similar way? It was fans that declared him a God. In reality Gods never die. Sage was just a really powerful dude that made ninjutsu... Who is to say Madara didn't already corrupt this guy?

He went around the world preaching peace so that makes him evil... Plus all he wanted is for the world to live in love, peace and harmony... So that makes him evil as hell.

TBH, I wouldn't say he was evil, but he undoubtedly went about things the wrong way. The Sage originally favored the Elder son, it was only near death that he chose the younger son. Even the Sage said him self that unlike him the savior would lead the bijuu down the right path, meaning the Sage saw something that he did as wrong.
If I were to guess, I'd say he was pure like Sasuke, he felt that if he had the power to do it he could and possibly sought to equalize power to that extent.

maybe the sage was "evil" or rather favored power over love. Being that he created ninjutsu(which is power). I keep seeing people saying that sage was corrupted by madara maybe its madara that was corrupted by the sage or the desire to be like and from the information that he received from the tablet.

theory on why he chose the younger over the eldest (usually) the elder child tries to be more like their parent than do their siblings (daughters want to be like mothers sons want to be like fathers.) On the sage's death he may have thought that the path he chose was wrong( far to common theme in naruto) and appointed the younger son to be his heir.

This would be a real reason to hate your brother, not because he got picked over you, the fact that you lived your life to be like your father and then he chooses someone that doesn't embody what you believe he stood for.

Not likely. We have seen flashbacks from him and have heard several bijou talk about him. He doesnt seem to be evil from those impressions at least.

stupid post and don't make sense.

Sage is God/divine being on good side. He is the only one to save the manga directly(by himsefl) or indirectly (by Naruto and Sasuke as his sons's reincarnation)

Then your question is incorrectly formulated.

You're asking if the Sage 'was' evil, yet you're telling that Madara is 'influencing him'. This means that the Sage was not evil, but is being turned into an evil being.

So there is a contradiction in the enstablishment of the question.

You need to ask if the Sage is a evil being right now, not if he was an evil being in the past.

No, he can't be alive. Where would Madara have gotten his DNA for the Edo Tensei? It's either Kabuto, Yamato, or someone else who is still alive in Naruto's time.

They had Hashirama's DNA for Edo Tensei... Just saying. Perhaps Madara recovered it from the statue's burial place on the moon? I suspect we will see Rikudoh before the series ends. Why else would Kishi elaborate on the Shinju tree?
