What if the Sage isn't a distant Uzumaki... but Naruto is a distant Ootsutsuki?

What would you think of this? It's definitely possible, there are a lot of ways the branches could cross between the Uzumaki and Ootsutsuki's, sure... but what if the Oots (for short) instead, crossed paths with the Namikaze's?

I think it would be awesome if Naruto was a distant Oots. Not so warm to the idea of the Sage being a distant Uzumaki, but wouldn't complain if he was.

That's completely wrong. The Sage taught ninjutsu to the people, thereby creating a first generation of ninja who were not his descendants.

With regard to the OP, we know that the Senju are descended from the Sage's younger son and the Uchiha from his older son. We also know that controlling Gedo Mazou requires both bloodlines' DNA. We also know that Nagato, an Uzumaki, controlled Gedo Mazou. Therefore, Uzumaki DNA counts as Senju DNA for (at least some) jutsu requirements. Therefore, the Uzumaki are related to the Senju, and therefore descended from the SO6P.

Not to mention it friggen says so (Uzumaki and Senju are related) in the manga.

Uhm, not really. The Sage likely lived several hundred years ago, if not longer. Within that time frame, the chakra trait could easily spread through the population until it was commonplace depending on various factors.

This is the thing... Madara already said it. People without chakra is people without spiritual and physical energy to merge into chakra. It's not possible for them to learn ninjutsu without this requirement.

the sage war the origin (the beginning of all shinobi's/shinobi clans, his descendants became shinobi/had chakra, then branched into many clans) and naruto is supposed to be the next sage/savior, meaning they have the same will/morals/spirit to save and unite the world.

i don't understand why people insist on making them from the same clan (though naruto's clan didn't exist when the sage was alive) naruto and the sage are linked by what they stand for, they don't have to come from the same place (wouldn't make sense anyway).

Idk Namikaze have been missing in mentions in my opinion to b given such position really, but still possible and wld be cool if Naruto's awesome genetic traits(good quality/quantity chakra, fast healing) from gothic his parents.
