I'm totally winging it, but what if the Sage had a third son? Could he be the progenitor of the Uzumakis?
I mean Zetsu did say that Nagato was the only one compatible with the Rinnegan.
If an Uzumaki is compatible with an Uchiha or Senji, couldn't they be related? Couldn't they be siblings born from the same father?
