Who's to say Oro hasn't already reunited with his parents? Hell! To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they may have been his entire motivation of attacking the Leaf. Since we don't know anything about Orochimarus family that and the connections he has with Danzo may have had something to do with this as well.

The death of his parents deeply scarred Orochimaru at such a young age. Then he started witnessing others die around him and the pain it caused their loved ones. That's when he came to resent the fragility of human life and started delving into Forbidden Jutsu in order to prolong his own. That's around the time when he finally snapped, when he found a way to beat life and death at their own game. And he did.
Or that's my head-cannon at least. I think part of that was anime-only.
