Well with the help of the villagers, she is a thread. She has a lot of info on the Kyuubi. When she fought Pain they had NO intel about them. Remember how long it took them to handle the code Jiraya left.
Alone, probably she couldn't do it cause she is a Medical Nin and she has to take care of the villagers in the same time, but with the help of some of the Rookies, I bet she could do it. As in, she already has Sakura for healing and stuff...
