If were talking about whenthey were kids :He would have mastered his curse mark power and became Kakashi's apprentice and move on to squad leader or higher up. Leading to the point where he would surpass naruto or be exactly rivaled at power.... It would take him longer to access susano but in the long run he would be much more powerful.

Where it is now: narutos word to have him freed of his crimes due to the fact that naruto saved the village countless times makes it possible
