i just caught this one. this is yet, another good one. I personally think that maybe the senju were put into place to protect the uzumaki clan in a sense. if they were in fact a small clan, and were being wiped out due to war it would make sense. they had an alliance and assisted one another. maybe the senju clan was really covering for the uzumaki.

that just brought me to another thought..... hashi controlled several tailed beasts and dispersed them to other villages as peace treaties right? what if he controlled those tailed beasts by implementing the uzumaki clan? and here we are thinking that he did it with just his skill and strength alone, maybe he didn't. i dont want to take anything away from hashi, but this is a possibility. and if that rings true, i can only imagine how many other thing the two clans are intertwined in.
