In his final breath ...he uses COAT to create a new instance of himself, without any traces of Indra's chakra. At the same time, he creates a new instance of Naruto without any trail of Ashura's chakra.

So in the final battle both of them dies and the brother feud ends.

Tremendous plot twist.

I don't know. It would be very interesting to end the lineage of the Uchiha, Uzumaki, Hyuga and Senju for the sake of humanity. They carry the cursed blood of the Six Paths after all.

It'd be unlike kishi. That leads to konohamaru avenging naruto in pt 3. New pt, new hero, naruto lives as a legend dying for the village. lol

Main characters actually die in shonen all the time IMO

Yes main characters do die in japanese shonen, movies and literature but the fact remains that Kishi is involved with The Last and Naruto ans Sasuke are both in it and older. The best we fans can hope for at this point is a really good fight and a draw to see if the "brothers'" transmigration can be put to rest.
