What If Sasuke meets...

Now bear with me on this one. I was recently thinking about how Naruto got the opportunity to meet the S06P this chapter, but Sasuke was completely nowhere to be seen or mentioned at all. The S06P might bring Sasuke into the realm or mention Sasuke in his conversation with Naruto. However, people have been saying that Sasuke already met the S06P. How? I won't bring up the scan, but there was translation viz scan that said "forerunner." There's a small chance that Sasuke has met the S06P already. Perhaps Kishi will only show a small portion of that conversation (if it did happen.)

Moving on, Sasuke could either meet Hagoromo or this mysterious brother (if it didn't happen). Naruto has all chakra tail beasts within him or at least the grand majority excluding Minato's half, which i think is the reason why he was able to meet Hagoromo. I guess Sasuke might have the requirement (eyes) to meet Hagoromo's brother? Could be. I mean both of them are still in a near death state. What i will say is i would definitely hate that Sasuke doesn't get the chance to meet at least one of the brothers... Why? Because that would diminish his role as a character, honestly.

Sasuke should meet Hagoromo's brother. The reason is because i'm assuming that Hagoromo's brother was the founder of ninjutsu or at least left his teachings to Indra (Elder Son). Sasuke has changed ever since his interactions with both Hashirama and Itachi, but i still believe that he has darkness within him and power is still important to him. The Elder Son believed in power, which is needless to say that Hagoromo's brother believes that power is important. This is why i would enjoy seeing Sasuke talk to Hagoromo's brother, instead of seeing Hagoromo discuss with Sasuke. I'm fine if Hagoromo is the one who talks to Sasuke -- it won't be exactly better in my honest opinion.

We still have Sasuke who's wind can blow at any direction (quote a la Orochimaru). So it wouldn't be far-fetched if this mysterious brother has a small influence in Sasuke. Sure, Naruto and Sasuke are working together as of now. Although we didn't get any closure between these two after the Kage Summit. This conversation with Hagoromo's brother might impact Sasuke's views on power, the system, and most of all the Bijuu. After Naruto and Sasuke wake up; they will probably put their feud aside until Madara gets defeated.

Having Sasuke meet Hagoromo's older brother is integral to his character in my opinion. This will not only make Sasuke realize the errors of his ways; he will confidently turn a new leaf after everything is said and done. Now all of you might not agree with me, but how else is Naruto vs Sasuke suppose to happen? Have they ever fought on friendly terms? No. Why should it be different this time? It shouldn't. This fight will determine who is right and who is wrong. The only thing is after the fight is over between Naruto and Sasuke. Both love and power will lead the way to peace.

Sausage has not and will not meet the Sage of Six Paths. A forerunner is a predecessor and Sausage is not a predecessor, of Naruto anyway.

Sausage will likely meet Oscar Meyer or Jimmy Dean. Mmmmm...

No, Naruto was chosen because the Sage wanted to entrust something to him. Also the younger son is the successor not the Elder Son.

If Sasuke was going to be involved the Sage would have brought him their before starting the history lesson.

Just because the S06P entrusted something in Naruto doesn't mean that he can't visit Sasuke. Youre jumping to conclusions here.

In my opinion he will meet the sage's brother as well. I'm sure Kishi didn't just throw him in there without reason.

My guess is that after Hagoromo and his bro sealed the juubi, they had a disagreement about how to move forward. So they probably split and went their separate ways. Hagoromo ended up having his two sons and chose the younger one as the successor, which left the elder son bitter. Hagoromo's brother probably took advantage of this bitterness and chose Indra as his successor, which lead Indra to fight his bro for supremacy and thus starting the feud.

So I could see Sasuke meeting the sage's brother and being compared to the elder son in the same manner Naruto met Hagoromo

I agree that Sasuke will meet with the brother and be corrupted by him. In this series whenever pairs are introduced to make a parallel between Naruto and Sasuke, one of them is good and the other is corrupted. Something had to have happened to corrupt the Sage's brother, and he is probably the one that ultimately corrupted Indra to turn against his brother instead of joining him like Hagaromo thought.

Some are saying the brother is irrelevant, but if he were irrelevant then introducing him into the story would have also been completely pointless, and no author introduces a character like this just to do it. No doubt he'll play an important role.

Wonderful insight, troy! I had something around the same lines. Kishi introducing this brother wouldn't make sense, if it isn't for the sole purpose of him meeting Sasuke. Otherwise, S06P must of killed him. Kishi could make this happen knowing his unpredictability, but i hope that's not the case here.

Let me say i agree with your post as well. I believe that he will corrupt Sasuke by sharing his beliefs with him. Undoubtedly, Kishi would be making the biggest egg move if this character is not introduced or explained in the following chapters.

Well if Sasuke is going to meet anyone its going to be the brother, as like I said before the Sage would have already brought him there before the history lesson started.

While this thing about the brother being evil and the source of how it all started is an interesting idea, its just that is has been used so many times already with Orochimaru and Madara.
