It is plausible, only thing Orochimaru would have to do is transfer Kabuto's memories into Sasuke and instant DSM, but doing it that way would be too easy and feel really cheap. I am hoping for a new CM variant without SM's sensing ability,but just as much power.

Um, OBITO, anybody? He's the jinchurriki of the ten-tails, a creature that absorbs natural energy constantly. Obito Uchiha is now much of a sage as the others, in fact, stronger.
