[Discussion] What if Sasuke had wrecked Konoha?

So let's imagine it went this way. Kabuto gets out of Izanami earlier and goes with Oro and crew. They barely contain Hashirama when the ET Hokage come back, he gets overwritten/tagged. He never tells Sasuke about the past. Sasuke wrecks the leaf. He kills both of the elders. Konohomaru and his stupid little friends. Whole 9 yards, leaves the Hokage mountain as a smoking crater.

Sasuke shows up and plays it straight. The Hokage's were overwritten and have no memories of wrecking Konoha. Sasuke shows Naruto using genjutsu the last moments of Konoha. Konohomaru's dumb little friends beg for their life, and then ET Hashirama snaps Konohomaru's neck with mokuton.

Would this push Naruto over the edge, if he knew there was absolutely no Konoha left?

It would be the doom for Sasuke honestly. All the people are fighting to protect that village and he destroys it? And don't forget Hashirama couldn't be controlled so he had stopped Sasuke easily on his own

Didn't read. But what would have been cool is if Sasuke showed up to destroy the leaf during vs Pain and he helped Naruto beat him then we had a small skirmish between the two

I think Kabuto and Oro working together could have subdued Hashirama. Then again, maybe not. Hashirama and Madara were sort of on their own level IMO. It's never been totally clarified that anyone other than the Juubi Jinch went beyond their power level. Granted Nardo and Sauce with the Sage's power probably go well beyond that... Meh.

It isn't really fan fiction to say that Sasuke = Naruto. It's been implied by most of the characters, including Nardo himself.

hashirama already freed himself from the control of orochimaru and Base Hashirama alone was enough to destroy orochimaru,Sasuke and Taka with low diff at most.
