Well what gave Madz the power of the rinnegan is Indra and Ashura which resulted in hagormoo's chakra. But the power of six paths is by Uchiha and Senju power as well. The databook said that the Uchiha inherited the yin of the sage while the Senju inherited the yang, which is the only way for you to use izanagi. Sasuke has hagoromoo chakra so he's good on the izanagi part but I don't think he can not go blind. I put Hagormoo in the same category as Sasuke in terms of usage of izanagi, as for COAT I believe that it goes beyond the rinnegan.

Uchiha could already utilize izanagi without senju power :sdo:. In a nutshell what I'm saying Hagos chakra would enhance something Sasuke should already be capable of.

No Uchiha has ever used Izanagi without senju dna.
Tobi and Danzo were the only ones and they all needed senju dna. izanagi is a yin yang technique.
I know Sasuke's Hagormoo/Rinnegan chakra will further enhance it.

Itachi explained the creation of Izanami was because Uchiha were basically spamming Izanagi. Remember Madara even used it before he implanted Senju dna.

That was a story that nobody no one knows about and that's not something you can use as facts. He said that the Uchiha's were not allowed to fail, so you don't know how they were able to gain izanagi in the first place.

The manga already said that you need both uchiha and senju power.

Itachi clearly knows about it and he was part of the special anbu. He would know his clans history being the son of the Head of the clan. Itachi didn't tell the story as if it was a rumor either. As long as the manga says they need both, I'm staying by it. The databook yin yang section states these too.

He used another method such as sealing the technique within his eye. He can't actively use it whenever he wants the way Obito and Danzo could. Izanagi is classified as a Yin and Yang Release technique, so it requires both the Senju and Uchiha's DNA in order to use it.

It's the same tech...It's no different than when Itachi sealed Amaterasu to activate in Sasukes eye. Yin-Yang techs were never stated to be Uchiha and Senju exclusive.

Viz said it was a transcript seal that was similar to Hebi Sasuke's transcript amatersu.

It's like saying Hebi Sasuke can use amatersu if we go by what you're saying.

Yh but in this case Madara was the one who implanted Izanagi into himself, the manga never stated he had any assistance. Madara no longer associated himself with the Uchiha when he went to fight Hashirama. Unless what Madaras Izanagi that he used against Hashirama was stated somewhere in the DB to be of a different variation, I dont see the difference.
