Was the mother?

BUT.....Karin was the surrogate?

That could explain everything.

PS: I really don't care who the mother is. Karin and Sakura could not be any less interesting to me.

That would most likely be Karins role

Surrogate Mother definition
-a woman who bears a child on behalf of another woman, either from her own egg fertilized by the other woman's partner, or from the implantation in her uterus of a fertilized egg from the other woman.

A more likely scenario is that Karin donated an egg and Sakura was the surrogate, hence the DNA match.
Well there are two types of surrogates.

A traditional one where the father donates the sperm and is mixed with the surrogate's egg, making the surrogate the biological mother.

Then there is the gestational in which the mother's eggs are harvested and mixed with the fathers, then implanted into the surrogate, making the surrogate have no genetic ties with the child.

Considering that Sarada has Karin's DNA, she would be the traditional surrogate if that is indeed what happened.

My guess is that Sakura is unable to give birth, my theory is when she was stabbed by Madara's Gudodama, she was injured eternally(around the uterus) to an extent that she was unable to fully to recuperate.

Seems reasonable enough.

I honestly don't see why Karin wouldn't raise it as her own if it were her child and not just a surrogate.

Yes that or Sakura could be the gestational surrogate because her own eggs are not fertile, that's what I was trying to say.

It could be one or the other.

Do you guys truly believe kishi thought that deep into this?

He doesn't have the balls to go this route completely but if he does I'll forever respect it.

Well then there better be a good reason for Karin to not raise Sarada. It's not like she wasn't capable nor didn't have the time. She's working with Orochimaru out of her own volition.

This whole plot would be stupid.

Why not just tell Salad the truth and introduce her to Karin as a Aunt or some crap?
The thing that doesn't add up is why would Karin allow Sakura to raise her child, especially if she birthed her. There is no way in hell she would do that. I think the umbilical cord was Sarada's. I think she is an experiment, a fusion of Sasuke and Karin. Sarada is pretty much a mini-Karin. That panel of an adult Karin pretty much confirmed thay look damn near identical (no photoshopping needed--LOL) Sakura's words heavily implied that she is not Sarada's biological mother. So the experiment theory is all that makes sense t this point. Karin being alive pretty much shoots down the theory that she and Sasuke were a couple. To be honest the writing here is just plain terrible. It's like Kishi couldn't make up his mind and wanted both women to be the mother, he is so indecisive. LOL.
