What if orochimaru?

What if orochimaru did become the 4th hokage how would he have fair during the 9tails attack? Please be kind of in depth

I would think so since he would have access to the Forbidden Scroll. But, the most controversial issue is the Uchiha. I think he would have did better because he is able to understand.

Orochimaru as Hokage would basically act the same as if Danzo was Hokage. There's no way Tobi shows up and Orochimaru doesn't get distracted from protecting the village. Orochimaru in this situation is willingly trying to deal with both the Kyuubi and Tobi. That's not going to end well for him, even if Minato is helping.

I agree but so could Minato imo. Minato died because he was in a hurry to seal the kyubi and reducing further damage as much as possible, plus he wanted to seal kyubi inside Naruto. Remember he too was a master in sealing. He learnt from an uzumaki who were known and were destroyed because of their sealing expertise.

I can't see anyone (Konoha related) alive in the world at the time being able to defeat Obito besides Minato.

Minato was chosen because Hurizen had his doubts with Orochimaru and he was one of Jiraiya's pupil. Besides that, Minato chances against Obito were high because of FTG, which he copied from Tobimara.

True...but I think Minato can take on Orochimaru pretty easily. He just needs to mark Oro once and Oro would be done.
