released his kamui inside someone when he's still in a dematerialized state?

It is known kamui is effective only in a materialized state

When you think about it, when he re-materializes, he must be pushing air molecules (nitrogen, oxygen) out of the way. It isn't a vacuum of empty space where he reappears. So if he pushes other particles out of the way where he materializes, perhaps if he materialized while going through a person, that person would explode?

He can't suck others in while he isn't solid

I dont think Obito can ever materialize when he is going through anything or anyone, hence his dematerialized state

yes exactly..

Im just figuring that it'll do the dame thing that it did when DL did it in Heroes because he basically has kamui (minus dimensional transport). just watch a clip of Linderman dying, it shows a hole where the hand materialized with the sides compacted, thus indicating that that particular area had been altered (particles moving and compacting). @suigestu5 i have no idea why he hasn't done it, my best guess would be because than kamui goes from completely OP to completely unbeatable. best guess though, could be wrong.

What if obito used edo jutsu to revive rin? That is something I have been wondering myself. I also wondered why he didnt have nagato(back when he had control of him) to revive rin.

it would be impossible for him to even do that. he can only use the kamui technique whilst he is materialized
