What if Obito went into the war alone?

Its crazy to think that if Kabuto wasn't interested in Sasuke and didn't decide to join forces with Obito he would've gotten stomped so hard.

If you think about it Obito didn't do much, it was mostly the edo tenseis (for the first part of the war)

Just a thought.

Kabuto was the biggest threat until Itachi negged him and Obito became a Juubi Jin. But yeah Kabuto did most of the work with his edo Tensei

He would've failed miserably without the Uchiha God Madara.

While I have no proof of this, if you think about it, I believe Obito's original plan had something to do with using the Bijuu as the brute force while working on a revival of Madara in the background.

If you recall, when Madara was reanimated he was shocked that he was brought back as a zombie as that wasn't the plan he and Obito had devised. I don't remember exactly what their plan was, if the manga even bothered to go into detail what the plan for bringing Madara back initially was, but my best guess would have been that Obito was going to bring Madara back in someway and then the two of them would attempt to revive the Juubi.

May be obito will be using 6 paths techniques combining them with his MS as we all know obito was nerfed from using his full abilities

Regardless he would've of lost without Kabuto. I was kinda just trolling because the op's user name.

Obito simply isn't gonna beat Naruto, Bee, Kakashi, Gai, and the SA.

Bold: The plan was to use Nagato to revive Madara via Rinne Tensei.

The original plan was to have Nagato Rinne Tensei Madara back to life. Not sure what Obito's plan was after Nagato died, but he wasn't anticipating Edo Madara, as he was surprised when Kabuto showed him.

Madara was also unaware of Nagato's betrayal when he was Edo Tensei'd, which is why he was confused as to why it wasn't Rinne Tensei and assumed the original plan fell through. Obito later tells him Nagato betrayed them.

I'm guessing Obito was going to push the plan forward himself instead of trying to bring back Madara, since the only way he had of doing it was giving up his life for Rinne Tensei at that point.

Ah, yes of course.

Obito's goal wasn't to win the war.

It was simply to retrieve the 8 and 9 Tails.

When Kabuto decided to join, Obito said that he now has to change his plans around so he already had something in mind to stall the S.A.

It probably had to do with the Zetsu transformations since Naruto was the reason why that plan was ruined and Obito had no idea Naruto would be able to sense bad intentions. Not just that but he never took into consideration that Naruto would become a perfect Jin.

Contrary to the popular belief Kabuto's involvement had more disadvantages than advantages.

Obito would've won the war, Think about it. No Kabuto means >> no Edo Tensie >> no Edo Itachi >> no Sasuke turning sides >> no Orochimaru >> no Edo Hokage.

Sasuke would be fighting Naruto, while Obito already took care of the rest of the shinobi alliance via Transforming Zetsu's into Alliance members and assassinating them.

There would be following Match ups:

Sasuke vs Naruto = Stalemate
Obito with Six paths and Gedo Mazo vs Gokage = Obito stomps, since none of the them have counter to Kamui.
100,000 Zetsu Army vs 50,000 Alliance = Half of the alliance army was wiped in 1st day, with Zetsu Assassinations we can also call this a stalemate.

Obito's strategy was simple He wanted to grab Naruto when he is exhausted so he can take out the Nine tails and become Juubi Jin.
IMPORTANT: Obito is the only person in Narutoverse to move around the world within seconds via teleportation. He could easily swap through battlefields causing Havoc while finally sneaking behind Naruto at a critical moment in his fight with sasuke to absorb him....Take him to the other end of the world >> Extract nine tails >> Summon Gedo >> Become Juubito....G FKIN G
