There is no way that Sasuke would have changed his mind to go and save Sakura like Kakashi did. Naruto would have tried to go save Sakura, but would have only awakened Kurama like he did against Haku. Sasuke probably would have been killed by all of the Stone Village shinobi that eventually showed up as reinforcements.

I like the idea but this isn't exactly a fair match up.The experience levels are different.Obito was Chunin,probably Rin aswell,and Kakashi was a Jounin who could use Chidori.

While Team 7 before Zabuza just formed their Team,and are fresh out of the acedemy.It would be similar to the bell test with Naruto not doing well and Sasuke holding his own but not winning.Their teamwork was non existent then but from seeing Sakura kidnap they'd work together and pull off some great strategies like they did when rescuing Kakashi.
