Please comment on what you thought of the chapter. Sakura’s getting a full-out battle!
While the former friends head towards the Valley, Sakura and Orochimaru...!
[The dust billows through the area. Nothing can be seen. Then out through the cloud dashes back Orochimaru, a devious grin plastered on his face. Sakura comes out chasing after him. They wind up back further into the forest.]
Orochimaru: (The runt of their team....she’s certainly grown. I’ll have fun playing with her.)Kukukukukukukukukukkukuku!
[Sakura closes the distance between herself and the Sannin. She flips over his head, back-kicks him in the knee, and then tosses him over her back across the ground. She leaps up high into the sky and prepares to smash a furious punch on her foe when she reaches ground-level. Orochimaru springs to life, rolling out of the way of the attack and then skilfully avoids the debris that comes from the impact.]
Orochimaru: Formation of Ten Thousand Snakes! [He gets on his knees and opens his mouth as a wave of 10,000 snakes comes slithering out*]
[Sakura gets into a fighting stance as the swarm of reptiles swiftly approaches her. She starts throwing punches and kicks, every now and then having to skilfully dodge. Some snakes have blades in their throats and one manages a clean stab right into Sakura’s side, in a section where her clothes had been burned earlier fighting Obito. The kunoichi hunches over in pain, but yanks the snake out and chokes it. She reaches into her weapon holster and pulls out a kunai. She clashes her kunai with blades and soon breaks one snake’s blade and stabs it to the ground through its head. She charges up chakra in her hands and then hops at the serpents and beats them away with her chakra-enhanced fists. But she is biting by the poisonous fangs of the last survivor, who sneaks up behind her before sinking his teeth above her ankle.]
Orochimaru: Kukukukukku, foolish pathetic girl. It’s time for you to die know!
[Sakura uses her medical skills to quickly heal her ankle and with her tremendous speed is able to avoid Orochimaru’s powerful punch.]
Sakura: You shouldn’t underestimate me. (I can do this, Naruto’s depending on me...)
Orochimaru: (Tsunade’s taught the pest well. No matter, I have my arms back and possess Hashirama’s DNA.)
[An ink bird is flying over head a different section of the forest. Suddenly, it tries for naught to adjust its flight path but it is pierced by a branch.]
Sai:: (I can’t tell where Naruto and Sakura are gone. Be safe my friends.) So you won’t let me act.
[The person Sai is talking to is standing next to a tree, having been the one to snap the branch and launch it at the ink bird – Jugo.]
Jugo: I apologise but it is Sasuke’s will. If you insist on trying to interfere in his battle or that of his ally Orochimaru then I shall have no choice but to be your opponent.
Sai: Very well [Unsheathes his sword] let’s get started.
Orochimaru: Earth Style: Head Hunter Jutsu!
[He slips under the ground. Sakura stays calm and anticipates his attack. When he launches out of the earth behind her, she swings her leg up, parrying his punch.]
[Sakura skips ahead and tries to kick Orochimaru but he evades and she smacks down a tree. The sadistic Sound ninja responds by letting chakra flow to his fingers and giving a quick, strong jab into Sakura’s stab wound. Sakura tries to stay composed but her eyes are gone wide in agony. Orochimaru jabs his hand again into the blood-guzzling injury. Sakura collapses to her knees, her forehead resting against a tree.]
Orochimaru: Does it hurt? Well, it’s all about to go away. Naruto and Sasuke don’t have to be weighed down any more.
[He yanks his hand out of the wound and launches a snake out of it towards Sakura. She manages to shot out her arm and crush the snake’s head in her grasp. She places her hands on the ground and pulses chakra into it. The ground cracks towards Orochimaru, with even some slabs jutting out at him.]
Orochimaru: Your chakra control is actually pretty good. But you’re still just the commoner. You aren’t special like Naruto and Sasuke-kun. You may have been trained by Tsunade but it was pointless. You can’t stand up to me.
[He opens his mouth wide and launches a big snake at her which bites her shoulder but she is able to pull it off and slam it hard to the ground. She steps on it and glares at Orochimaru.]
Sakura: Just....just < Orochimaru attacking her and Sasuke in the Forest of Death > what the hell are you?!
Orochimaru: Kukukukuku, well I suppose I can enlighten you on my story. I mean a cute face like you all bloody and groggy, I should be a gentleman and fulfil your final wish. Kukukukukukukkkuku!
In the midst of the brutal fight, what does his past hold?
* Yeah, that’s the jutsu he used against Naruto when they were fighting on the Kanabi Bridge.
Well, again please comment on what you thought of the chapter. I tried to make it intense and brutal. It has to be special for Sakura’s big fight!
