I'm back!! First off, there's a retcon; Obito's susanoo is now black not gold (the eyes will remain red). For those who can't remember, here's the design:
Unfortunately, this doesn't mean a return of regular updates
but I will try harder to balance my time and get these out there. For now anyway, enjoy!
Note: The opening scene is partially inspired by one in 'My Failed Naruto Predictions' by my friend GuntherockProject. Here's hoping he can restart soon too! =D

Random Shinobi: Don't break formation! We are the Konoha Border Guard and have been left behind to guard the village from enemy attack!
Konohamaru: (Yep, left behind..)
Random Shinobi: Stay focused Konohamaru!
Konhamaru: Ye-(what's that..)
[Suddenly, Konohamaru breaks formation and and runs off. He ignores the resulting yelling and keeps going to where the noise emanated from. He finds..Anko!]
Anko: Wha..you wait..ing for..he..help...I need..a.. [She collapses!]
Konohamaru: Hurry over here. I need medics. I found Anko!
[Perfect Susano'o slashes at Shinsuusenju but it dodges. It rips a big slab of the ground out from underneath itself and throws it at Perfect Susano'o. With a chuckle, Madara merely slashes the projectile with his sword.]
Madara: Try these darling! Wood Style: Wood Clone Jutsu!
[He forms two Wood Clones who each form a full-body Susano'o. Both jump into the air and use diagonal slashes. The 'X' cuts off three of Shinsuusenju's hands. It retaliates by grabbing them and smashing them together.]
Madara: Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!
[The Shinsuusenju merely charges through the flame dragon. It unleashes a volley of punches at the Susano'o. However, it ducks away from and underneath them. It soon uses one of Shinsuusenju's hands to jump up into the air and comes down with a stab in the wood giant's midsection. A big crack forms. Now, it is lying on the ground with Perfect Susano'o down on one knee on top of it.]
Madara: I'm on top...just as it was meant to be. Izuna would be chuffed. It's nothing truly personal, old friend. But my dream of absolution...will not be STOPPED!
[Perfect Susano'o raises its sword above its head, both hands on the hilt, and is going to stab Hashirama on Shinsuusenju's head. However, it uses 6 hands - 3 on the left and 3 on the right - to grab the blade and then flips Perfect Susano'o across the battlefield. Shinsuusenju jumps up into the air and starts spinning down towards Perfect Susano'o. It digs the constructs in the appendages next to its arms into the ground, giving it leverage. Thus, while it is pushed around, it isn't harmed nor does it fall over. However, the landscape is severely changed; now but a canyon with numerous large patches of platform scattered throughout.]
Hashirama: Oh, so that's what does do...(and here was me thinking they were just there to look cool. You win this bet, brother.)
[Shinsuusenju goes forward and while Perfect Susano'o severs more arms, it is pummeled into oblivion by its opponent.]
Madara: Almighty Push!
[Shinnsuusenju is knocked over the edge into the newly formed canyon.]
[Hashirama is on the edge where his weapon just fell over. As he is about to call to it to stand up, Madara launches at him. This results in a fast, beautiful display of Taijutsu. It end when Hashirama goes to elbow Madara in the back of the neck, but he blocks it with his gunbai.]
Hashirama: <Hashirama and Madara messing around as kids> (How did it come to this?)
Madara: Fire Style: Dragon Flame Song!
Hashirama: Wood Style: Wood Hands Jutsu!
[Wooden hands form from the ground and grab the flames.]
Hashirama: Wood Style: Timber Tongue Jutsu!
[A wooden stripe froms around Hashirama's hand. He uses it to slap Madara around. To conclude the assault, he pulls Madara to him and uses a seal to break Madara's contract with the Wood Dragon. However, Madara immediately does the same!]
Madara: Guess we're back to square one there...
<Hashirama and Madara are walking through Konoha. They start conversing with the citizens of the new village. They even have a quick, basic sparring match for some children.>
Hashirama (There's nothing I can do. My old friend is truly dead. The only thing that's left is a self-absorbed, crazy war monger!)
[Madara is chasing Hashirama and is about to use Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu. But, the Shinsuusenju rises from the ground and puts Hashirama back on its head. Madara simply reactivates Perfect Susano'o.]
Madara: Wood Style: Wood Clone Jutsu! [About a dozen clones are formed and they each form a full-body Susano'o.]
Hashirama: (This again huh..)
[The first clone rushes forward and is quickly vanquished by a powerful double-elbow to the head. The next two engage in a punches-to-swords exchange where Shinsuusenju loses more hands but manages to destroy its challengers. Another clone had disengaged its full-body Susano'o and snuck underneath Shinsuusenju. It thus reforms its full-body Susnao'o and stabs right through the crack in Shinsuusenju's torso. Hashirama sports a worried expression but has the clone crushed.]
Madara: Superb...
Hashirama/Madara: Wood Style: Great Forest Emergence!
[More clones are lost in the entanglement of branches. In the branches, Shinsuusenju and Perfect Susano'o are fighting over the latter's sword. Shinnsuusenju knees Perfect Susano'o but it then headbutts the wood construct.]
Madara: (Second time lucky..)..Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!
[The fire ploughs through the crack-turned-stab wound. It enlarges and several more cracks appear throughout the statue's body. The remaining clones make their move; they too use Fire Style techniques to push back Shinsuusenju from the original. These attacks go a long-way in reducing the amount of branches. The clones start to swarm Shinsuusenju. It is on one knee and Hashirama is flinching. However, he refuses to surrender and with a determined look, he get's Shinsuusenju to stand again. It raises a clone above its head and throws it at others. They plummet into their destruction in the canyon. The last clone uses Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation. Shinsuusenju merely bears the brunt of the impact and punches 6 hands through it, and rips it in half vertically from the inside. The clone disperses from the stress.]
[Shinsuusenju and Perfect Susano'o rush at each other. Hashirama and Madara' gazes are locked on each other.]
Madara: (This is it...our FINAL CLASH!)
[Perfect Susano'o is able to maneuver around Shinsuusenju's swings and lands more swipes on it. Shinsuusenju starts to fall apart. A panel of Madara's eyes.]
Hashirama: huh,huh,huh (This is for the ninja world...I can't be beaten!)
[Shinsuusenju grabs Perfect Susano'o and starts throttling it. It squishes Madara inside the head. Hashirama is able to channel his chakra through Shinsuusenju's arms and forms a seal.]
Madara: Our fight in the Valley taught me that the basics are always crucial...ah, the art of deception...[He's behind Hashirama!]
Hashirama: (He used Genjutsu..!)
[A vicious blast courtesy of the Asura Path rips through Hashirama's back!]
