This is a fanfic that continues on from Naruto chapter 635.
Sorry for the slight delay. Let's just say a certain discussion made me rethink when a certain fight's gonna happen and that slowed me down. But, let's get on with the new chapter!

Naruto's in danger! What's Guy-Sensei about to do?
Lee: Everyone! Ouickly, we need to help Naruto!
Guy: No need Lee, I'll take care of it...
Lee: Sensei, what do you mea...
[Guy gives Lee the Nice Guy Thumbs Up.]
Guy: Lee, you've never giving up no matter what the world's thrown at you. It does me proud to be your Sensei. Time and again you've shown me your Will of Fire. And you Ten-Ten...
Ten-Ten: Sensei...
Guy: You've never let insults and petty remarks hold you down. In you're own way, you work just as hard and are as determined as Lee.
[Guy thinks of Team Guy's photo.]
Guy: I'll be sure to send Neji your regards when I meet up with him.
Lee/Ten-Ten:!?
Guy: Just remember one last thing! Always move forward and show your opponents the Power of Youth! Gate of Death open!
Shizune: Is he actually going to....?
Ino: So this is the 8th Gate...but won't he die...?
[Kakashi jumps up with a panicked expression.]
Kakashi: No, Guy. We'll find another way! Guy, GUY!!
[Guy just looks down at his rival and gives him a honest smile.]
<Guy is a very young boy signing up for the Ninja Academy. Behind him in line is Kakashi, this being the first time they met. A montage of Guy during his days at the Academy, including his great and embarrassing moments. Guy eventually advances to Genin and meets his teammates and new Sensei. He's always quick to prove himself and trains harder than anyone else. But, he can't help but feel he isn't as good as he should be. After a particularly tough mission, he confesses to his Sensei that his greatest fear is falling behind and being unable to protect those precious to him. He states that he focuses on Taijutsu because it matches his personality:fierce but underneath delicate. He thinks of the Chunin Exams and how while he easily passed, he still lost to Kakashi. Thus, he declares Kakashi as his rival and makes it his goal to surpass him. At first their only rivals, but after Obito's 'death' they start to bond and eventually form a tight, if unique, friendship.>
Obito: Fire Style: Great Dragon Flame Jutsu!
Tobirama: Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!
[A puff of steam engulfs the surrounding area as Minato moves in and tries to shank Obito. However, they're distracted by the sight of Guy with a green aura surrounding him launching towards the Juubi.]
<Guy remembers his first introduction to and adventures with his students. From his similarities with Lee to his annoying of Ten-Ten with his quirkiness to trying to help Neji break the shell he had formed around himself.>
Guy: (Who would have thought? An oddball like me getting to leave such an impact on others. Looks like I proved myself after all. Thank you, everyone....)
Sasuke: That fool! How did he get caught so easily?! He put's the Kyuubi's power to shame...
Orochimaru: kukukukuku, don't get so hasty Sasuke-kun. Just keep up the plan.
Sasuke: Hmph, relax. I'm gonna put it into motion soon.
Orochimaru: Oh, impatient aren't you? Well, looks like we have a fireworks display to watch. [Points at Guy.]
Naruto: Damn it! Let go of me! [Slashes at the Juubi's stomach to no effect.]
[The Juubi starts powering up a Bijudama to launch right at Naruto.]
Guy: Not so fast!
Naruto: Bushy Brows-Sensei?!
[The green aura around Guy starts to expand and twist and turn into many different shapes. Eventually, it settles on a gorilla. A crackling noise begins as Guy starts to bleed from the nose.]
Guy: Naruto, good luck. I'll leave the rest to you. I believe in you. Take care of this mess! Midnight Monkey!
[Guy slams right into the Juubi's chest as his aura spirals out of control. The Juubi bellows in pain and loses it's grip on the Kurama cloak, which is thrown back by the force of the impact. The green turns to pure white as the aura again expands this time into an orb. The orb cracks as an explosion rocks the earth. A mushroom cloud is left in it's wake as the Juubi detaches it's horrible charred flesh for a new coat of skin.]
Kakashi: [Drops to the ground.] Looks like...I just lost my last good eye....[A tear falls down his cheek.]
Minato: That was Guy....Obito tell me you see now how ridiculous this whole thing is. Let's just end it. This is the last chance I'll give you. Surely, you're mourning him too. He was an ally from Konoha.
Obito: That's exactly it Sensei....in this world people give their lives trying to make the world a better place but it's all for naught. This hell known as reality will never change. I'm doing this to end the suffering. Then all the departed can be together again. Guy, Lady Kushina, Rin, Kakashi, me, you, EVERYONE!
Tobirama: Fourth...
Minato: It's okay Lord Second, it's...
???: Don't give up Lords Hokages!
Lee: Never give up. That's what Gut-Sensei would want!
Ten-Ten: Yeah, if you throw in the towel and act all melancholy now, [tears stream down her face.] then Guy-Sensei died for nothing!
Minato: They're right! Lord Second let's settle this battle her! We're coming for you Obito!
Guy's sacrifice reinvigorates them!
