What if nagato....

So, let's say that after the pain fight, nagato miraculously survived after using rinne tensei. He was healed, and then he became an ally of the leaf.

What would've happened? How would the war have gone? What would obito have done?

Do you think obito would've managed to defeat nagato in order to take his eyes? If not, what else, then?

Obito would have had some OP jutsu to kill Nagato to take his eyes. Gaining Nagato's eyes is a pivotal event so it would have to occur at some point.

Nagato's mobility was s**t; leaving aside this fact, the 6 paths of Pein were a force to be reckoned with.

a healthy Nagato would curbstomp 99% of NV!

If Nagato were to have survived, that means that Obito wouldn't have gotten the Rinnegan. Then there would be no Edo-Jins, and he couldn't have summoned the Gedou Mazou, making it an easier fight for Naruto/Bee/Kakashi/Gai. But things might go south when Edo-Madara shows up.

OT: The war would have been over before it even started, Naruto would have never been distracted by the Edo Jinchuriki, saved energy, but at the same time he would have never befriended Kurama, and not completed the prophecy...

Well Nagato knew where every Akatsuki base is and that was around the time Bee was thought to have been kidnaped and A was going wild for him. Cloud, Konoha, Sand and rain village would have been attacking each base. Nagato also has knowledge of all the member's stats so telling them all Obito's weakness would make it bad for him.

Obito knows Nagato's weaknesses as well though but I don't see him beating Nagato when he is a sensory, can use all 6 elements, have shared vision, have more fire power and more battle experiences. Nagato might have went with Naruto to guard him and Bee and may have even trained Naruto a but, he does know wind jutsus after all. I don't see Kabuto kidnapping Yamato if Nagato was there as well, Kabuto might have died right there if he only was using Deidara, unawared that Nagato was there too but then again he only knew of their location from Kisame's shark which Nagato can just use deva path to pull and destroy and pull Kisame's soul to read his mind as his path did with Shizune.

6 paths in the war would be killer, we don't even know if the white zetsus transformation works on the sharingan which can see thru jutsus and the rinnegan which has better visual prowess. I see deva pulling edo's to him as the other path pulls out their souls, no soul= no edo.

What would've happened? How would the war have gone? What would obito have done?

Do you think obito would've managed to defeat nagato in order to take his eyes? If not, what else, then?

If Nagato had survived, Tobi and the rest of Akastuki (Kisame and Zetsu(s) would have known about his defections, but since this is a what if / hypothetical it is hard to tell and pretty pointless.
