What if Nagato didn't revive Konoha's people?

As you know, Pain killed many people in Konoha and destroyed it. Having conversation with Nagato, Naruto decided not to kill him so as to prove that he wants to break the hatred cycle. But we know that Naruto didn't know (and consequently didn't expect) that Nagato can revive the dead. So my question is that if Nagato hadn't revived them and after conversed with Nagato, Naruto had come back to the village, then what would have happened? Imagine the slaughtering and destroying by Pain. Naruto has come back to the village. Now, what will be the reaction of Konoha's people? Will they deal with it and consider him as a hero as they did?? What would have been Naruto's answer to them asking "you didn't kill him? you didn't kill the person who killed many people of us and destroyed the village?"

OT: He probably won't tell them about Nagato. They just knew about Pein. I suspect the higher ups and those directly involved in deducing Pein's secret will know, but not everyone.

and in present war,they will be used in war
take example of kakashi,he died,so he wasnt revived then he would be an edo,using kamui on every person,and sending to other dimension xd

and the village can't blame naruto for not killing him they didn't expect naruto to do it in the first place.

People would congradulate him for beating pain, then tobi would go to amegakure to fight nagato for the rinnegan. Win for the sake of the plot then win the war single handed, without needing to be obito.

nagato will just become some sort of a rogue ninja, break all his ties with akatsuki, konan would be there with him. Naruto will just return to the village and see fewer no of people congratulating him. And about the 4th ninja war, naruto will have lesser no of allies(kakashi won't be there) but yes, he will have nagato on his side.

I think it would have effected him greatly after such a battle to come to bury so many it would have gained him more pain then he would be able to endure possibly really losing control of Kurama with grief..jus my opinion
