Well if the opponent had a kunai behind them he could then teleport throw another kunai to that location so it will hit them from behind.

Seems possible, but I don't know if it would serve any practical use.
If Minato wanted to go to a certain place, he'd just throw the kunai directly there instead. Arguably, a kunai in his hands would be a more effective attack than a thrown one.
