No madara to **** up obito, obito can't help itachi, so no massacre, so sasuke doesn't become an evil emo child. The curse would probably end there. Sure, Zetsu could continue and try, but I think if not for the massacre, sasuke and naruto would still have that rivalry, but would be brothers. Working together more along the lines of how they are now, and that means the end of zetsus plans IMO.
