Hashirama owned Bijuus 2-9 when he was alive, he faced Full Kurama which have more power than Naruto does now; if you gave him the Rinnegan then Hashirama would surpass Naruto. Hashirama already knew what the Rinnegan jutsus Madara used were as he said their names, what would Naruto do against a Rinnegan Hashirama? He absorbs everyone of Naruto's ninjutsu and blast him miles away with Deva path (Deva path sent 3 giant toads miles away from him breaking their bones, Naruto stated all of the jutsus are faster and stronger when the original user uses the jutsu themselve). Using the summonings gives him share vision and he Deva path reflects and attacks Naruto try using on them. He also gains sensory abilities.

I meant Sasuke being on the Same level as Naruto but lower on the list as Madara is with Hashirama.

He had no reason to lie, his mission is to serve Akatsuki in order to protect Konoha, Jiraiya isn't a Konoha ninja anymore as he was honorable reliefed of his duties back in the day and like the other Sannins at that time, he didn't have to side with anyone. Also zkisame didn't trust Itachi as we learn more about in his flashback to when they first met and Kisame threaten a Itachi to watch his back around him and a Itachi always have his Sharingan on unless he exhausted himself so unless Kisame could actually believe Jiraiya could take them both, it was no lie.

They brought Jiraiya in this so why not? They're both top ninjas who are smart, we get Jiraiya who have been spying on Akatsuki and knowing Itachi and Kisame were both members and saying he would wiped them both out then we have Itachi saying they would all get hurt or die if they fought. Itachi has to close his eye to build up the chakra for both Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi which is enough time to attack with with fire jutsu, earth jutsu, summonings, shadow clones, ect... Stop trying to act like it's a 1 move fight when I can easily say Jiraiya sends itachi sinking in his swamp of the underworld or to his toad stomach that crushes him and melts him with the acid at the same time.

You didn't really make sense^^ The village wasn't in anarchy, they still had control of the situation and had they attack then they would be facing Jiraiya, Gai, Asuma, Kurenai, Kakashi, the Hyuuga clan, Nara clan, Choji clan, Ino clan, Kiba clan, Shino clan, Anbu black opts, the jounins, and the Chunins which is too much of Itachi and Kisame to handle. Itachi had no knowledge Jiraiya was Hokage candidate, no one knew but the 2 elders (3 if you count Danzo) and a Jiraiya himself. How is that logic of Kisame not trusting Itachi wrong? That's actual manga fact of the flashback and this is a organization od S rank criminals, you really think they're going to really trust each other? Kisame respected Itachi but trust is another thing, he did kill his comrades in his flashback as well and Itachi knows this since Kisame brought it up as well as a Itachi killing his clan which made them good to be partners with.

What? Anyways Jiraiya isn't a leaf ninja now, he's not bound by duty as every ninja in a Konoha are so how is a non-duty bound Hokage a obvious candidate? Jiraiya being out of the village means he turned it down since Hokages aren't suppose to leave the village unless there's an official meeting and they wouldn't go with a 13 year genin but 2 Jounin body guards.
