What if Itachi was the leader of the Akatsuki?

A healthy Itachi, who really was evil, who had actually massacred his own clan to test his own ability, who was ruthless and truly after his brothers' eyes.

Would you all be content with that, knowing Itachi's skill level?

Personally, i liked Itachi's character better when we didnt know he was secretly good. He was easily the most badass character in the manga and would still be currently. It would be cool i guess although its pretty obvious Nagato is stronger.

Obito wouldn't be under itachi, so that would be a MAJOR loss.
Itachi would've been ruthless and just killed off orochimaru.
The entire series would be different.

Obito would of been under itachi, sasuke would of died, orochimaru would've been dead long before, danzo as well. The third wouldn't of died to orochimaru, tsunade would've never had to come back to the village at the time she did. Jiraiya would definitely still be alive.

Than that would've contradicted Madara's plans up to now, and the whole series wouldbecompletely different, but I would've enjoyed that series very much.
