I think the point the OP is trying to make is that if Itachi didnt burrow the crow into Naruto then that would mean Edo Itachi and Edo Nagato vs Naruto and Killber Bee, now imagine Killer Bee and Naruto getting caught in Izanami :O, If thats the case then Edo never gets stopped and Naruto never makes it to the main army.

But I think this really shines on the genius and incredible foresight of Itachi. He knew that Naruto would not only play an important role in protecting the village with him being the Jinchuriki and all, he also knew that he would face down the threat to the village without backing down and when that happened the crow would remove the threat for him. It just so happened to be him that was the threat.

Also keep in mind that he placed a Amaterasu in his eyes set to go off he Sasuke who he knew would get his eyes would look at Obito, because he had the forsight to know that after he was dead obito would probably try to coerce sasuke. Time and Time again we have seen living proof as to why Itachi was revered as a Shinobi Genius. He has predicted everyones actions down to the very last drop and has planned accordingly so that even after his death he could still control the situation.

Even after death, Itachi was still pulling the strings.

You got the point. Naruto just only needs touching the crow and gives the kyubi's chakra and voila you have fresh kotoamatsukami ready. He become too OP with shisui's eye.
