It was a retcon. But all these characters showed up when the eye was already planned. Hinata. Kinshiki. Momoshiki. Kaguya.

They all have Byakugan + Ootsutsuki Chakra, so they should all logically hace Tenseigan.

It was stated that the Tenseigan requires Hyuuga Eyes and Ototsuki Chakra. Kaguya, Momoshiki and Kinshiki have no Hyuuga Eyes. Their Eyes are Kekkei Mora based while the Eyes of the Hyuuga are a Kekkei Genkai.

Hamura had two off springs. His own Ototsuki Clan and the Hyuuga Clan. So actually the only one who should have that Kind of ability is Hinata since she was given Hamura's chakra.

But I think in Hinata's case it is Plot.

Do NOT forget that Kaguya is the progenitor of ALL clannish powers (kikkei Genkai), since she ate the Fruit of the Holy Tree. Both Kaguya and Momoshiki ate the fruit and both of them possessed the rinnegan ... so if the tenseigan exists really, it will be IMPOSSIBLE not to be possessed by any of them (as eaters of the Fruit of power). Tenseigan is just a filler .. DEAL WITH IT

That's not true. KKM is different from KKG. Kaguya had no MS/EMS nor did she have the Rinnegan. These are Dojutsu that came with her Rinne-Sharingan.

Both Kaguya and Momoshiki ate the fruit and both of them possessed the rinnegan ... so if the tenseigan exists really, it will be IMPOSSIBLE not to be possessed by any of Them

This isn't true either. Kaguya ate the Holy fruit and acquired the Rinnegan Sharingan. Momoshiki used a different method and acquired the Rinnegan.

Yeah because no Hyuuga existed back then. Again the Tenseigan requires the Eyes of An Hyuuga and the chakra of an ototsuki from Hamura's clan.

As for the filler. If you consider it filler I will quote you whenever you use a Sasuke feat based on the movies because they are filler too then.

should they have both rinnegan and tenseigan with sharingan and byakugan abilities it would require the same powers to defeat them.

So Kaguya with tenseigan needed Neji and Toneri on top of it for her to be sealed.

All Ootsutsuki & Hinata should have Tenseigan. Heck, that's pretty much their Super Sayain form tbh. :lol They are the Sayains of NV after all.

Although I do still think Tenseigan may return if things play out the way I imagine/hope they plan out.

Tenseigan isn't any Byakugan + Ootsutsuki Chakra. The movie you are erroneously referencing shows this by Hamura being the only Ootsutsuki to have the Tenseigan.

Which still doesn't address the fact that no Ootsutsuki w/ Byakugan has Tenseigan. Not Momoshiki. Not Kinshiki. None of the Ootsutsuki clansmen before they gave up their eyes either. "Pure Byakugan" obviously means that the Byakugan he took was special, and that came from Hanabi, a Hyuga.

And yes, what I said is from the novel. You can argue it's not canon, but that explanation makes more sense than "Byakugan+Ootsutsuki=Tenseigan" when no Ootsutsuki w/ Byakugan has it.

No Ootsutsuki have the Tenseigan, because you need to have the Byakugan AND the Tenseigan Altar. Just having Ootsutsuki blood and Byakugan isn't enough.
