Well they were both reanimated so they are both dead.
The question you asked was replied to. Regardless imo both characters serve no purpose anymore. Them being villains n/opponents ow wouldn't make sense. They served their purpose in part 1.

If they still alive they will have time to grow like everybody else. So yea they can still beat him due to either manga fact or justu advance.

Be Cool if Kimimaro was still alive he was pretty badass with those bones of his be cool to see him in a battle don't care much for Haku.

They were both in the war as Edo and they were send to they are at rest and the series is almost over so its not worth considering sines it can't happen.
