New hypothetical for you guys..

If every human being on the planet earth lost the ability to lie how would society itself change?

Would things get better?

Would things worsen?

Would nothing change?

Key question 1: Are lies Necessary?

Key question 2: Do they do as much good as they do bad?

Apply those questions to the following:

  • Government Affairs
  • Personal Lives (Relationships/Family Dynamic).
  • History?

the invention of lying.. brilliant.

in some ways it would be good and in others itd be bad.

we sometimes say things out of sympathy. which, is a lie is it not?
if someone falls over no one cares about them but (and im hoping here) we will all help them.

People probably would ignore the question then, or not answer then. Government information may never reach people, and even then information may be construed due to understanding.

think about it... without lie then secrets won't never be a secret anymore... that's just like.. if someone ask you what's your credit card number you gonna tell it right away...

then people would all know god is fake.
we will never be told about god, heaven, hell, aliens or anything because it would screw our system.

the invention of lying touches this point spot on.

if heaven exists, why should we live?
if aliens exist, surely religion goes out the window?

Lawyers, politicians and even those businessman who embezzle their clients(much higher percentage than you may think) would be without jobs immediately. But, we need those people for our society to function properly, despite their shortcomings. The fact is, humans all have positive qualities and negative qualities. As a general rule of thumb, it's not possible to remove one negative quality and then say "Everything will be pitch-perfect from now on" . It's not as simple as that. It would be like removing a species from an ecosystem and then watching how all the other species/animals are affected.
