Seeing as many people (or rather a selected few)created multiple threads using speculation to come to some very highly fabricated conclusion. I decided to speculate as to how

found a way persuade Boruto to use that protype tech for his upcoming match.


What if Dr.Evil convinced Bolt that by using this new tech in front of many villages, it would garner I high amount of buyers therefore making it easier for Konoha to sell such a device....

Bolt doesn't care about this and sees no reason as to why he would need it until Dr.Evil tells him that by doing so it would ease a bunch of work of the 7th Hokage making free up his schedule.

Bolt slightly intrigued tells Dr.Evil that "wouldn't this be cheating?" In which the Doctor replies with "Of course not since it is just a ninja tool like a puppet or a shuriken!"


Dr.Evil then says that even if he gets caught the 7th would be rather proud that his son is doing his work for him....


Boruto thinks about this for a second and then remembers his sister who had a depressing birthday without her father.

Boruto becomes determined and agrees to do so.

honestly my theory sounds logical since this kid can do lightning anyway so there must be a reason as to why he would take such a device


if he was fearing his weakness he would have gone to Dr.Evil himself rather then Dr.Evil go to Bolt and sell him on it

For fact that many sources confirmed that the Doctor tricks Bolt.

I just don't know how, but he isn't in the wrong here when he was mislead in the first place. That doesn't stop people from blaming him because they are retarded.

I am always saying that if Boruto wanted the device in the first place he would've had it from the get go

instead we have this shady dude going to Boruto directly

Katasuke (the scientist guy) is has a shady personality. It seems that he was encouraging Boruto to use the device. Seems to be a glib salesperson. 'In a place with no water, there's this degree of suiton..!?' --->Has to do with that bracelet device, I believe. Might have to do with the cheating.

There is a scene at the beginning where Boruto is playing a video game. He doesn't care about cheating, but of course--> Naruto tries to instill in him that putting in the effort is the most important thing.

If Naruto disapproves of the device, did he reject the guy's invention? Could be why he'd seek-out Boruto to display it during the Chuunin exam...The crowd would be full of potential buyers (like the Daimyo's who are basically glorified civilians)

Actually, is this scientist guy even a Ninja/working for Konoha or is this an entrepreneur type of thing?
