If you're wondering what "What if" threads are, these will be a series of threads that I will be posting once in a while. These threads will ask a "What if" question, and in reply, I want to see how others would think it will affect the storyline, either for better, or worse.
My first what if is...
What if Sasuke decided to stay in konoha and not go to Orochimaru?

It would have almost no conflict and no one would watch it as much.

then he wouldn't have beaten itachi and naruto would have advanced way more than he'd imagine

or he'd try and find a way to control the curse mark on his own

naruto, still has to become child of the prophecy. Sasuke will get mad jelly that he wasnt even mentioned in the premonition n regret not going to oro. Sasuke would prob never get as many power ups and would prob end up at the same level as Neji part 2. Naruto, however would probably be a lil less stronger without a driving force behind his training. Rasengan? Controlling kurama? he did all that for sasuke n his friends, but i still think he would have learned SM because, again, he has to become child of the prophecy.
