orochimaru taught me immortality in the aspect of living eternally within the memories of others, and to do everything with a cause, and always thinking ahead.oh and to learn everything the world has to offer.

never thought of that, good one

And Sasuke? He's taught me quite a lot about Hatred and Revenge - especially how it's capable of completely warping your very personality and how painful it is having to deal with everything on your own.

That if you get chopped in half everyone still thinks you're going to live.

this manga taught a lot of things:

from naruto, to never give up on your dreams
from sasuke, to cherish your friends, they will be there whether you need them or not
from the great nations, a society's stability depends on each citizen's willingness to help their country, be he a lowly student or the president
from itachi, to love your family & know what's good for them or not
from minato, to plan your moves ahead
from kushina, to know your strengths & weaknesses & not be discouraged if you are not good at something
from kakashi, to enjoy life & give humor & not be serious at all times no matter how genius you are
from sakura, to be strong enough to protect everyone you love
from hinata, to love with all of your heart and get inspired from it
from orochimaru, to learn to accept the heartaches of this world & be contented with your life's limits
from madara, to be noble & not conquer the world intentionally because the (for want of a better word bec i don't know what word to use)
best conquerors are those who don't think they are born leaders but just find that leadership fits them well
(like harry potter & naruto)

& the list goes on...

This is one of the few awesome threads on here and I've been moved to comment. Naruto taught me several things, to work hard, never give up, always have the "will of fire", loyalty, everything people before me mentioned. But above all that Naruto has taught me is that if a person wishes to be truly strong, they must have something they wish to protect as my favourite Hokage stated, "When there is something to protect, that's when a person's true power emerges."
