Soooo, it's been quite a few years since I last logged in here. Therefore my questions: What has changed in the RP scene? Do I need to resubmit my biographies/relearn everything from the basic elements to sealing techniques? Is Emperor's custom clan still even existent? Most importantly, is there a meaning to our seemingly pointless existence, or are our cognitive abilities too restricted to see beyond the apparent physical shell of reality?

I'd probably slip those last two questions into a separate thread in General Discussion.
Though my answer to that would be no. We are beings born out of nothing but chance, there never was any intended destination or goal for us, and that we fill out our lives by having created constructs like "careers" and "hobbies" to mask a mutual and deep rooted fear of the emptiness that hangs over our existence.
To put a brighter finish to it though, it's that which we do that gives us some defined space in the universe. In other words, we shape our own destiny.

RP has been revamped after much effort and countless nights without sleep by the wonderful RP staff... So I imagine quite a bit has changed but you might still be good as far as your bios go unless you are talking 2008-2009 era RPing lol o.o

Really Glad to see you back after so long buddy. So your bios should still be in the approved section and since then no rules have changed to make your bios Null. You still have all the stuff you learned back then, base 5, nin gen tai. But i'd read through the rules again there are new clans and bios you can make. Emps clan still exists, the nekura clan. I believe they have a few new jutsu.
As for the last bit, yes, the point is RP is life U_U
