What has become of Pokemon?

That shit sucked from the stat. The manga was way better. I hated how they took something that had so much potential, and aimed it at 7-12 year old's. Imagine if it was actually serious. And why was the catch phrase gotta catch em all? He caught like twelve and gave up and moved to another region. lmao

It had a lot of potential for an anime.

I know this will never happen but if they followed the pokemon manga it would of been awesome with Red, Blue, Green (blue was never shown in the anime). but yeah I wouldn't mind seeing ash actually grow up and return to the old pokemon areas.

Yeah! I personally would have much rather had someone like Gary as a main character, Ash has always been to fodder for me but since we are stuck with him, anyways anything is better then what there doing now. I would also like to see them bring all the old characters back.

It's the gameplay fundamentals they get right. If you don't like it, don't play it. I personally am always partial to new generations of Pokemon.

To tell you the truth you can't really bash it until you try it.
-I hated the pokemon in gen 6 when I first saw them, then I played the game and they grew on me.
-I mean my all time favs are still in the older gens but this new gen has some really awesome pokemon.

So try the gen before saying it sucks

The storyline was a lot more interesting than past generations, however. (except for maybe Hoenn)

Mega Evolutions are only in battle its not much of a difference. specially if you understand the meaning and stuff behind it once you play the game.

Pokemon really wasn't that good after Diamond/Pearl. I was considering playing the newer ones after but they looked ridiculous.
